We strive to make our studio a place where everyone feels safe and comfortable. Please help us continue to do so by following our simple etiquette guidelines.
We are a shoe-free zone, so please take your shoes off and leave them on the shelves provided on the stairs, or in a cubby hole in the changing room. Property is left at owner’s risk.
Please always add your name to the sign-in sheet on the front desk before going to the changing room.
Latecomers may only be admitted up to five minutes after class has begun, but this may not be possible during daytime classes so please ensure you arrive on time.
If you are coming to us for the very first time you must be in the room before class starts. Please allow 15 minutes to complete one of our registration forms, talk to your teacher abut any injuries you may have, and get a good spot in the room.
Please treat your fellow yogis, our staff and teachers with respect. We reserve the right to take necessary action in instances of antisocial or disrespectful behaviour.
Please take only your mat, towel and water into the studio. All other personal possessions should be left in the changing rooms. If you are uncomfortable leaving any items out of your sight, please do not bring them to the studio. We lock the front door while class is on to ensure no one other than those signed into class is present in the building.
Many people enjoy relaxing before and after class, so we respectfully ask you not to talk in the room.
If you feel unwell in class please tell your teacher first, rather than rush out of the room.
You are allowed to leave the room during class if you need to, but please do so only in the pause between postures, and only if absolutely necessary. Similarly, please only re-enter the room when a posture has finished.
After class, please leave the room quietly so as to be mindful of those who choose to remain in final savasana.
We recommend that you do not come to class to ‘sweat it out’ if you are feeling unwell.
Please be mindful of foot hygiene and use appropriate dressings when you come into the studio if needed.
Please follow your teachers words rather than anticipate postures and move at your own pace.
